We are in very interesting times and I am sure you certainly agree with me that things are not as we knew them when we were growing up or even a few years back and going forward we can only hope it gets better.
Sincerely how does today’s woman walk in the steps of the Proverbs 31 woman? The cost of managing a home in these times can be daunting. Do we need to be geniuses then to be able to maximize every penny? I will say No but highlight a few vital points that can help us or that we can share with fellow women within our sphere of influence.
In my economics class way back we were taught terms such as scarcity, demand and supply, economies of scale, opportunity cost, such economic conditions are not mere theories and thus in the face of such realities what we all need to do is to adjust and adopt a few good habits.
1st Tip 💡: A Budget. This is a document that details your available resource(s), your needs (and wants) in the order of priority. We do this everyday, either mentally or by writing it down. What a budget does is to give you a clear picture of your income and expenditure within the family. It also helps planning ahead and resisting the urge to make impulse buying.
