Gospel music personality, Shade Oshoba, is set to kick start the celebration of attaining the Ruby Jubilee age of 40 with a much anticipated bountiful praise concert tagged “Kìkìdá”.
Shade is a seasoned praise and worship leader who is naturally imbued with the unflinching passion for the restoration of hope of the broken hearted through soul lifting songs.
Started her musical career in a small church in Abeokuta in 1998 where she was appointed a worship leader and later co- founded The Celebrity Band, a renowned musical band in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State. The band was distinguished for unique and outstanding music performances in churches, wedding ceremonies and other occasions.
She said in a statement, “Kikida Concert is my debut music concert. I have waited this long to hear God give me directions on how to go about my first concert and I can say Kikida was birthed out of the passion to praise God in an unusual way because he had also, one way or the other been good to humanity in different ways. You may not have had all the money in the world but you have life, good health, peace of mind and many other benefits that other people crave for. So, giving God bountiful praise is way to say thank you.”
“I was inspired to have a concert where people will not just come sing, dance and be ministered in their spirit soul and body but will also be inspired, refreshed and be empowered in my own little way. So, I decided to go into the street and online and identify creative entrepreneurs and aspiring music ministers and entrepreneurs whose skills can be better shaped for more productive results through trainings and empowerment” she added.
She became a professional singer in 2002 and has four (4) albums to her credits to the glory of God.
She has been privileged to perform on stage along side top Nigerian artistes like Nathaniel Bassey, Mike Abdul, Tope Alabi and Frank Edwards to mention but a few.
Shade is expected to invite her industry friends such as Beejay Sax, Pastor Kunle Ajayi, Dami and Bukky Bekes, Yinka Ayorinde, Foluke Omodara amongst others with special appreances from RCCG National Praise Team, School of the Blind Musical Group, Royal Diadem Choir and so on. The concert will be celebrated at Oranmiyan Hall, Lagos Airport Hotel Ltd, 111 Obafemi Awolowo Way, Ikeja on Sunday, October 9th 2022.
